About Dr. Pol
Dr. Arun A. Pol, MD, is a Child , Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. He has had a private solo practice since 1999 in Johns Creek, GA. Dr. Pol was Board Certified for 25 years in both Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. He stays up to date with the latest developments and attends Continuing Medical Education courses (e.g Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, Medscape, PsychopharmacologyInstitute.com ).
In the past he has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Emory University in a volunteer capacity. His practice does not utilize the services of any Physician extenders (e.g Nurse Practitioners) and all patients are evaluated and treated by Dr. Pol.
In his spare time, Dr. Pol likes to spend time with his family, travel, go hiking, bike riding on the Greenway, and kayaking. He is also involved in different volunteering activities.
Education:
- Residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati
- Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Emory University.
